However, after reading this post, I really think that Africa Acacia might be the type of wood that I might want to use. I love the dark brown color and how strong it is. Yet, I am very interested in the ark story that you mention here, Lisa. Do you think that this type of wood was chosen not because it was strong, but because it was sacred or held religious symbolism?
